In a couple of weeks millions of children will be going back to school. Some will think it is great to be back, but the majority will have mixed feelings, greatest is the fear fir the unknown – the new school ! The move into secondary school, even a new class year will take it toll.
Key to reducing the pressure on children lies in building their confidence and ability to participate effectively in class. This begins with the use of a child educational toy before they start school. Using preschool games provides the foundation , where parents taking time and effort to help the child at their own pace understand the concept and application of the game. Ironically this unique bond should be recognised as an ongoing strength, but all too often it is abandoned or reduced in importance as the child goes to school.
Modern teaching toys used in school ironically have an equal application back at home where that intimate preschool learning bond between child and parent experienced can be rekindled.
Following the progress of the child throughout the school career could not be easier. Highly constructive educational games for children follow the curriculum. Practising with these classroom games at home develops ability and interest back in class. Importantly if you are good at something you tend to enjoy it, and going back to school or to a new school is fun and not filled with dread.
